Alaska Inspiration: Eklutna Tailrace is located in the shadow of Pioneer Peak near the power plant on the Old Glenn Highway.   Tucked just off the road, many people ride by without knowing what beauty lies just beyond the trees.

Eklutna Tailrace is an artificial body of water that connects to the power plant and is fed by the Knik River.  The water is clearly glacier fed, and it is the most beautiful shade of blue you have seen.  Every season is spectacular.

Alaskan Interpretation: The large focal bead is a beautiful Amazonite, which represents the beautiful blue waters of the tailrace.  On either side of the Amazonite, I’ve added 4 Apatite beads to represent the depths of the blue waters.  

Next, you’ll see beautiful Turquoise chips to further showcase the various blues of the tailrace.  Finally, you’ll see white button bone beads to represent the snow that drapes across the bare limbs and the frozen ground, giving the illusion of being in a blue and white fairy-tale. 

This is a stretch bracelet to fit most wrists.
